21 weeks!

As I hit my 21 week mark we are working like mad to get our little Lady's nursery in order! This must start with decluttering, paring down and getting rid of my craft room/office. I started my week by going through Ethan's baby clothes. No one ever warned me about how emotional being a Mommy is. I must have shed a gallons worth of tears over his little outfits. I kept telling myself that they are just clothes. But, I have come to the relization that each one hold memories. I held onto the ones that I just couldnt let go. Ethan is my baby boy, he will always be, even when he is 18 graduating from high school I will still remember him in these little outfits. A friend of mine connected me with another Mommy that is having a boy, 2 days before me. So, we swapped clothes promising to take pictures of our babies in them. I find relief knowing that they went to a good home where another precious little man will enjoy them! Thank you to my new friend Joanne! :)

I have finally picked a theme for her nusery and am excited to see it come together!!
This weekend we we had a Yard Sale to help get rid of junk! Friday night Anthony and I arts and crafted some awesome signs. Bright and early Saturday we were out setting up! We sold a lot and donated the rest. This helped us take one step closer! :)

Pregnancy wise I am still feeling great! :) Having a little pain in my left hip other than that breezing right a long! Feeling baby kicks like crazy! Anthony finally felt her kick too! :) We had a Dr. appt on Tuesday. All checked out fine and dandy. Baby girls heart beat is strong and she growing right a long. We can't wait to meet her!!!!!!!!! 20 Weeks & Father's Day!!!

To quote Bon Jovi "OH WE'RE HALF WAY THERE!!!" I've hit my 20 week mark and feeling great!! I feel like my baby bump has grown overnight! This baby girl is sitting so much lower than Ethan did. It's crazy! Other than feeling frumpy, my pregnancy is still going well!! Getting very anxious to get the little girls nursery in order!! Man, it is hard picking our bedding for her. I think it is harder than picking out our own! Because I am a picture *you know what*, this past week my awesome friend Becca (of Becca Boo Photography) took our Gender Reveal Photos while my other BFF Jamie (Ever After Artistry & Lemonade Design Co) did my hair & makeup and made some adorable prop banners! We can't wait to see them! I am planning on putting our announcements, gender reveal, maternity and then newborn pictures on canvas for the Nursery. I saw this idea via Pinterest! :)


This weekend we are celebrating Father's Day! Let me start by saying my husband Anthony is the best father to our son. Watching him with Ethan melts my heart!! The way he reads him his stories and has tickle fights brings tears to my eyes. I can not wait to see they way he is with our daughter!! I couldn't imagine a better man to be by my side than him! I love you Babe, you are my rock! <3

It's a beautiful, healthy baby GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My 20 week anatomy ultrasound was yesterday. Upon checking in and confirming all my information we proceeded on telling the tech that we are hoping to find out the gender today as well. The doctor came in and started on the ultrasound keeping us in anticipation. I had made my guess of boy and he had told me not to be so sure. He proceeded to show us baby's cute features. Then claimed he was certain that this was a healthy baby girl!!!!! Of course I cried and saw Anthony get a little choked up at he squeezed my hand. Ethan also excited pointed at the screen saying little sister! :) The rest of the ultrasound was smooth sailing. Everything checked out to be perfect. Baby girl weighing approx 10 oz with 10 little fingers and 10 little toes! She look a lot like big brother!
Leaving the appointment we called our parents! Both ecstatic for us! Then informed our siblings and the world of Facebook. We were flooded with "Congratulations"! We can not express how much we appreciate our family and friends! So, so blessed to have everyone in our lives! :)
Now preparation can begin on Baby Girls room!!! I am so excited to shop for pink, it being my own favorite color! :)

19 weeks & Birthday!!!!!!!

19 weeks, I can't believe that I am almost half way done! I am kinda wanting this to slow down. This may be my last pregnancy and I really want to enjoy every minute! I am feeling great! Had some back pain earlier this week. I am not sure if it was pregnancy related or I just lifted Ethan weird or something. But, it forced me to get back in my Pilate's routine which is a good thing!! Tuesday is D-day or should I say G-day!! We find out (hopefully) if baby is a boy or girl! I know you are as anxious as I am!! Don't be too upset if is isn't announce right away! If you know us you know that we do things like this in a "cute" fashion! ;)

My birthday is today! I am 31!!!!!!!!!!! Can't believe I am that old, LOL! Age is totally just a number and I laugh in it face, HA! I can't wait to see what the next year has in store for us!! This year, like I had mentioned before, we are keeping it low key. We had an awesome day down in the SLO area and as I type my amazing husband is cooking my favorite dish he make Manicotti! Mmmm.... We will continue the birthday festivities into next weekend with a dinner out with some dear friends! I want to thank everyone for the birthday calls, texts and facebook post! I am truly a lucky lady to have each one of you in my life! So Salute to another fun filled year!!!! xoxo

18 weeks!

18 weeks and getting bigger! This weekend we headed to Fresno so that Anthony could re-take the portion of his PE test he was unable to take in April. He is relieved it is over for now! We had a ton of fun hanging out with my in laws, sister in law and her family, shopping and even checked out some baby stores! I loved looking for stuff for the baby. However felt EXTREMELY guilty. Like I was ignoring Ethan. Ethan is my baby boy and I don't want him to feel left out, EVER. So, he scored a Big Bird for being such a good big brother. Hormones do not help situations like this. :( I have this feeling that the months of us being just three is winding down and I want to make the most of my one of one time with our precious little man. So, this has sparked our "Summer Bucket List"! Things we want to do this summer before we are a family of four. I will keep you posted on the activities added to this list! :)

Pregnancy wise I am feeling great! Aside from having some back aches, occasional heartburn when I eat ANYTHING with a tomato based sauce (goodbye pizza and pasta), and pretty emotional about everything!! But, this is normal pregnancy stuff. I am starting to feel more little kicks! We are SUPER anxious for attempt #2 at finding out baby's gender! Can't wait to know pink or blue!!!!!!!! :)

This weekend is my birthday!!!!! Anthony normally goes all out when planning my birthday week (yes, week). But, this year we are keeping things a little bit more low key. Don't you worry next year there will be another costume party! ;) I welcome 31 with open arms! Some people hate their birthday and getting older. I however love the chance to celebrate the year past. Although yes, there are tough times, I feel my life gets better and better every year! So, cheers to another WONDERFUL year! I can't wait to see what the next year has in store!
