9 weeks...

9 weeks along now! Re-vamped our chalkboard, made it bigger and better!! Thanks Jamie for the suggestions of the AWESOME chalk markers! Also, got blood work done this week. OUCH! Not a fan of that!

Anythingmaking you queasy or sick: Yes. But, I can’t pinpoint it. Just happens.

Gender prediction: Girl
Belly Button in or out? IN
Wedding rings on or off? ON
Happy or Moody most of the time: Slightly moody but for the most happy & sleepy!

Virgin Margarita Recipe!

If you know us you know we love our margaritas on Taco Tuesdays! Well, I have created my our pregnant friendly one to enjoy! :) Here is the recipe (sorry for the lack of recipe writing skills)!

Ice
Limeade (I used minute maid)
1 shot glass of orange juice (we used fresh squeezed)
1 lemon slice of Lemon
Diet 7up

Combined all ingredients into shaker except 7up.
Pour over ice into glass (salt optional)

Then top the glass off with Diet 7up

Enjoy!! :)

8 weeks....

Had our first ultrasound appointment on last Monday! I just love our Doctor. He is so relaxed and informative. And a HUGE plus is he makes Anthony feel comfortable. I got the go ahead for my one cup of coffee a day which you all know I am jazzed about. We were able to see Baby and the heartbeat, it was amazing. My due date was moved backed because of Baby’s measurements. Our new due date is now November 4^th, 2012, one day before Anthony’s dads birthday. Ethan was there but seemed to care more about the chair in the room than the monitor with his baby brother or sister. I’m thinking the more we talk about baby and when Mommy starts to show it will sink in more to him. Also this week family and friends received the announcements that we put together. We told Anthony’s co-workers and posted on trusty facebook! We are overwhelmed with the well wishes and truly feel blessed to have each one of you in our lives! Here is a sneak peak at little Baby Severy and the first Baby bump picture!!

Barely there bump at 8 weeks!

Total weight gain/loss: 0
Maternity clothes? Nope but I did dig them out and take inventory! J
Stretch marks? Nope
Sleep: Great! Wasn’t able to for awhile but I think that was because I was anxious.
Best moment this week: Seeing baby & heartbeat, telling family & friends
Have you told family and friends?: YES! J
Miss Anything? Wine!
Movement: No
Food cravings: Not really anything yet.
Anything making you queasy or sick: We had bbq burgers the other night and I just couldn’t eat it without feeling sick. Huge bummer, hope that’s not a permanent thing!
Have you started to show yet: A little bit, just looks as if I am bloated.
Gender prediction: not sure yet.  
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy, I don’t think I have been moody thus far. But I am pretty emotional, crying over everything.
Looking forward to: Our next appointment in a month!

The Chalkboard

So, we are finally done creating our chalkboard! We used a picture frame we found at Ross. I painted the frame part white then Anthony chalkboard spray painted the glass and viola!! Get use to it because we will be doing weekly pictures of my growing baby bump! :) Now, what to do with the leftover spray paint?! Hmm....

We are thrilled that our announcement picture are finished! :) Can't wait for them to arrive in our friends and families mail boxes in a week! Our family photographer and dear friend Rachel took these pictures and did an amazing job as always, enjoy!

Top Secret

So, Anthony and I decided to wait to tell the world we are expecting until after we tell our immediate family first. We are also planning on having our photographer Rachel Neumann take some fun announcement pictures to send out! :) Can't wait to fill everyone in soon!!! Pictures from our shoot to follow! xoxo!

Telling Ethan James

During dinner we decided to tell Ethan that he is going to be a big brother!! This is how the conversation went.

Anthony: "Ethan we want to tell you something. Your going to be a big brother! Is that cool?"
Ethan (while scarfing his pasta): "Yea"
Me: "Mommy is going to have another baby!"
Ethan: "Baby"

A boy of many words! I'm thinking that it went over well! Now, we are teaching him the phrase, "I'm going to be a big brother." Now lets just hope he doesn't spill the beans before we tell everyone! :)
